Un grupo de expertos en distintas áreas técnicas fueron convocados por la Estrategia Regional de Desarrollo Tarapacá 2020, los cuales  desarrollaron con éxito el primer taller de análisis prospectivo de variables claves del desarrollo de la región.

Este taller, realizado el 28 de octubre, es el inicio de una nueva etapa del proceso que generará la próxima Estrategia Regional de Tarapacá, la cual pone a consideración los diagnósticos de distintas áreas que se generaron a partir de documentos y talleres con actores del mundo público, privado y social que aportaron con su visión y su experiencia importantes datos regionales.

Estos datos generaron una línea base que fue presentada y validada por los participantes los cuales también consideraron las distintas variables del desarrollo regional en las áreas social, económico, cultural, infraestructura y recursos naturales y medio ambiente.

Durante el taller, los expertos invitados también tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer la propuesta de Imagen Objetivo generada a partir de talleres de participación ciudadana y de actores públicos y privados  realizados durante la primera etapa del proceso de la Estrategia. Esta imagen objetivo será para la Estrategia una brújula que orientará el desarrollo según la visión y misión que la región quiere lograr. Recordemos que la imagen objetivo es la determinación de estados positivos y deseados que se aspiran a alcanzar a partir de una situación negativa o problemática, y que tiene que ser compatible con el escenario más probable y con la Visión y Misión.

El próximo encuentro, al cual fueron convocados este grupo de expertos, tendrá como objetivo seguir trabajando con la prospectiva a partir de la creación de posibles escenarios tendenciales con base en las variables del desarrollo generadas hasta el momento. Esto permitirá analizar el desarrollo regional hasta el año 2020 y direccionar las prioridades que la región necesita durante este lapso de tiempo.
