La experiencia en ambas zonas resultó un éxito, ya que en ambos casos se reconoció la importancia de la actividad y lo novedoso de la iniciativa, que permite la participación efectiva de la ciudadanía en las próximas políticas de desarrollo de esta nueva región.

 

Sin importar la condición social ni etárea de los participantes, y con el objetivo de conocer los sueños, expectativas y compromisos de los ciudadanos de la región, los participantes de los talleres pudieron dar la total expresión de los anhelos y esperanzas de cada uno y de las personas  y sectores  a quienes ellos representan.

Estos talleres que tienen como objetivo establecer desde las bases las ideas de lo que se quiere lograr en relación al desarrollo regional y proponen también conocer los compromisos que asumen los ciudadanos sobre estas ideas.

Por eso queremos agradecer a la Escuela Flor del Inca y a la Hostería Cavancha, donde se realizaron los encuentros que fueron diseñados, organizados y ejecutados por Rosa Checura Villegas, Jaime Valenzuela y Jorge Cavero Aedo, equipo multidisciplinario de profesionales con experiencia en gestión pública, investigación cualitativa, trabajo social y manejo de grupo, lo que sin duda permitió la recopilación efectiva de la información requerida para la región por el Gobierno Regional de Tarapacá y el apoyo técnico del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo PNUD.
