“Como equipo hemos trazado un plan de acción para llegar a la gente”, nos cuenta Karina Cortés, facilitadora de equipo de profesionales que trabaja el diagnóstico sobre participación ciudadana en la zona de Huayquique.

 

Los profesionales facilitadores de cada una de las zonas territoriales están evidenciando y registrando las diversas realidades de la Región.  Siendo muy positiva la participación de la gente, manifestándose entusiasmada y motivada por plantear y abordar temas relacionados con el desarrollo.

En la zona sur de Iquique, específicamente Huayquique, se trabajó con los dirigentes de 4 Juntas vecinales, quienes quisieron aportar con su visión para construir un futuro, pensando en potenciar e impulsar social y económicamente a la Región.

“El facilitador, profesional capacitado, es clave en este proceso, ya que tiene la misión de recopilar las opiniones de vecinos y vecinas. Todo esto, desde una mirada regional”, enfatiza Ignacio Escudero, otro integrante del equipo.

“Hemos trabajado en 3 sectores disímiles en todo aspecto; nos asignaron la zona sur, que se extiende desde calle Playa Blanca hasta Huayquique, desde costa a cerro. Llama la atención como muchos y muchas tienen la necesidad  y voluntad de organizarse para trabajar por sus demandas”, señala Inés Santos, la tercera facilitadora que compone el equipo entrevistado.

Además, de lo urgente, también quieren ver a su región próspera, que fue uno de los sueños expresados por Jensy Larama, Presidente de Junta de vecinos Los Puquios IV, quien dijo que  sueña con una ciudad turística con el mejoramiento de los puertos aéreos, marítimos y terrestres.

Así como estos Líderes se dieron la oportunidad de escuchar y de ser escuchados con el compromiso de que están contribuyendo a perfilar su región, también aceptan la invitación de continuar participando junto al Gobierno Regional, para conseguir la participación de todas y todos en el  proceso de la Estrategia regional de desarrollo.
